20 years of commitment to people with disabilities

In December 2023, we published a first report highlighting the importance of accessibility and taking stock of our initiatives for the inclusion of people with disabilities. 55 entities in 39 countries contributed to this international report on “disability, accessibility and neurodiversity”, reflecting our 20 years of commitment. It now serves as a benchmark for identifying areas for improvement.

We are also continuing to raise awareness among our employees, notably through the introduction of e-learning modules on the challenges of digital accessibility; and we provide our customers with an “autonomy solution” comprising services adapted to different impairments. At the end of 2023, ten countries and/or Business Units offered this “autonomy solution”: our ambition is to develop it in all the other countries in which we operate by 2025.

In the French BtoB market, Orange Business also offers its customers a digital accessibility package. The aim? To support businesses, from awareness-raising to compliance.

In addition, a skill center dedicated to digital accessibility carries out numerous audits of Orange websites and mobile applications in France, drawing up declarations of compliance and recommending ways of improving digital accessibility. At the end of 2023, 260 accessibility reports had been issued. This work is ongoing for customer and business applications as well as web apps, and web portals in many other Group countries have also been audited.
